Image

How Does Our Heart Pump Blood? - "Bringing the Circulatory System to Life: Hands-On Heart Pumping Activities for Young Learners"

Image
Teaching the circulatory system can be a challenging topic, but with the right tools and interactive activities, it becomes an exciting learning experience. In a recent class, I combined an engaging outdoor activity with a working model to demonstrate how the heart pumps blood throughout the body. Using  Drip Infusion Pipes  to represent arteries and veins, the model allowed students to see the flow of oxygenated and deoxygenated blood in real-time. Alongside this, a playground simulation had students actively participating as "blood cells," reinforcing the concept in a dynamic way. The students’ curiosity and enthusiasm were sparked as they explored the wonders of how our heart and circulatory system work. Activity 1 In this engaging demonstration of the circulatory system, I used a working model to show how the heart pumps blood to different parts of the body. The model, constructed with Drip Infusion Pipes, mimicked the arteries and veins, allowing students to visualize ho...

"Integration of Puppets in Story Telling and Sequencing"

Image
Storytelling comes alive with puppets. Puppets are a good way to deliver information to students and help them understand and retain it. It helps students to retell information they've learned and remember it. Teachers can use puppets to demonstrate proper pronunciation, take them into an imaginary world, and also help students develop language skills. Puppets allow students to escape into an imaginary world. The purpose of the puppet is to create interaction, fun dialogue, and even an element of surprise into your play and learn activities.  Puppets lend themselves to being the characters in your stories and allow your child to join in with the action. So I use to prepare the characters and backdrop of the lesson to take them into the imaginary place. And also help them to walk into the story. I use puppets in different ways to teach lessons. Here I have prepared the puppets and pasted them on the green board to teach ...

Biography trees will help children to remember the content easily and forever. Teachers can easily attract their students towards the classroom.                                   This a Biography Tree Model of the World famous Indian Astrologist BHASKARACHARYA. After teaching this lesson I prepared this tree to know his entire life history about his Village, family, books and his honorable names. So my children easily tell about his history and can write individually. I saw this type of skeleton model in Telugu Velugu book and made some changes according to my lesson,  (TREE MODEL OF BHASKARACHARYA LIFE HISTORY) (TREE MODEL OF GANDHIJI LIFE HISTORY)
