Types of Animals, their teeth and food habits- A creative, fun and art integrated science activity.

Here is a creative and fun activity for kids to teach about animals and their food habits. Animals have different food habits. Based on their food habits, we classify the animals into herbivorous, carnivorous, and omnivorous. Animals have different types of teeth based on their eating habit.
The activity (Types of Animals, their teeth, and food habits) targets both concepts of food habits and their teeth. The creative art integrated activity gives immense pleasure to the students and makes them involved in the process. Animals have been part of our lives. Students see different animals daily, but they may not know which animal is Herbivorous, Carnivorous, or Omnivorous. They usually see cows, dogs, and lions,  but they don't know why their teeth are formed differently from each other, and their relationship with their food habits.
The activity blends both ideas and gives the overall concept of their food habits and teeth arrangement. The relation between the food habits and teeth is clearly understood by this activity. Moreover, students engaged actively, as it is an art-integrated interactive activity.
Here I am sharing my classroom activity. It is a simple, fun, engaging activity where children enjoy and understandably learn the concept.
