Alphabets Identify Activity- Read the card, Identify the Letter and Trace

This is another graphic reading activity and leads to writing by identify the first letter of that word while reading the picture. Learning alphabets and sounds while reading a word. In graphic reading children should able to read the word without knowing the alphabet. I think it is the good because as a mother tongue they learn words before learnt the alphabets in English language. I am following this graphic reading method for teaching first class children. In this lesson MY FAMILY after days teaching I prepared picture cards of family members and letter tracing worksheets.          
                                          While teaching these words I wrote entire words on the blackboard and every time I asked my children to identify the first letter, sounds the letter and ask my children to notice the letter in other words. Later I asked my children to say the word while showing the picture. After drilling like this I gave worksheets to my children. Ask my children sit in a circle and place all the family members picture cards in the middle. Instruct my children to take one card read the word and identify the letter and trace the letters. It gave good results in my classroom and children learnt very fast and remember the letters and words forever.
