🍎 Flip, Fold, and Learn! Teaching Fruits the Fun Way in Grade 1 🍋 In my recent Grade 1 science class, I wanted to do something fresh and fun while teaching the types of fruits . Instead of simply showing flashcards or reading from a book, I turned our classroom into a mini fruit market — full of colorful, interactive 2D flip images of real fruits! The goal was simple: Help children identify the fruits by name. Encourage them to talk about the qualities of each fruit — color, taste, and more. Make the learning tangible and exciting through hands-on models. 🍌 How I Designed the Flip Fruit Models I created four fruit models: Banana, Mango, Apple, and Lemon . Each fruit was made from colored paper and cut into two symmetrical halves.
